J-Smoove started his Djing career in 2004 when his love for music, sounds and rhythms finally brought him to a pair of turntables. Within a year, Smoove held residencies at the biggest RnB/Hip-Hop nights in Syd & Interstate showcasing his supreme skills alongside the top guns of the clubbing industry.
Coming from two generations of world renowned jazz musicians, Smoove put together his own profound music theory and creativity to the wheels of steel.
He has cleaned up every Dj battle/comp ever entered and produced mixtapes that have left their undeniable mark across the country: The 3Vol ‘Pimp Party’ mixtape series, Under 18s ’Jamz’ giveaways, and the ‘Smoove Sessions’ guest featured radio mixes which can still be heard cranked in cars to date.
With a major passion for making any crowd go wild, he says: “The ingredients are: Track Selection, Show Tricks & Energy!” For those who have not yet seen him live, do so!
